CMC Marine will, in addition to presenting the complete range of their products, also exhibit the Stabilis Electra 16BR, the new model of electric actuator fin stabilizer. The 16BR will be presented at the Genoa Boat Show, and joins the 18BR model, presented last year and already installed on several vessels built by leading Italian yards. 
A New Zealand boat builder is making waves on the global super yacht tender market with their range of RIBs, fast gaining an international reputation as being the tender to have amongst super yacht owners. Based in Auckland, Smuggler Marine manufactures an extensive range of their Strata tender RIB’s from 4.3m to 11m in length. 
Emerson Process Management has chosen Hatteland Display to provide type-approved computers and displays for their DeltaV digital automation system. Emerson maintains a list of approved products for Delta V installations through their Alliance Program, which is managed in Austin Texas. 
For PlusAnimations this year is about creating awareness in the yachting industry for the value of 3D visualizations. Presenting a new design should be spectacular, convincing and realistic. For the yard and the architect this is a great marketing tool. The use of renderings is quite common, though there are vast differences in quality. 
The Yacht Technologies division of SELEX Communications, a Finmeccanica company, announces a new groundbreaking technology for the superyacht market – Integrated Antenna Solutions. This is a process that seamlessly integrates antennas into the physical fabric of the vessel, partially or completely removed from sight. 
Harris, Grant Associates have announced the launch of their latest iPad development: MiDox. MiDox provides engineering crew with an interactive, detailed and pictorial library of the boat wide system documentation including as built drawings, engineering manuals and photographs of equipment locations. 
Recently, Van Berge Henegouwen Installaties has successfully equipped 12 areas with iPads on an 85m superyacht. This confirms Van Berge Henegouwen’s mission to add comfort and luxury to the yachting experience, by giving superyacht owners control of their onboard high-tech systems through the integration of the iPad. 
The inspiration for the design of this Limo Tender 25’ is completely based on the mother ship the Heesen’s 5500 Semi Displacement designed by Frank Laupman. For the Design of the Limo Tender Vripack used many essential features so she is identical in a lot of ways but only one-ninth the size of her accomplice. 
Glyn Peter Machin (the renowned high end designers and makers of luxurious exterior and interior) products for superyachts are now offering a series on special finishes for on their furniture designs. Among the finishes is a specially developed exterior black or dark brown stain which beautifully enhances the grain details of each piece. 
A & E Yacht Services has presented to SuperYachtTimes.com its robotic system IMR 1.0 (patented) that has a significantly shorter, reproducible and safer production cycle on the filler modelling and sanding. What is unique to the robot is the ability to be used in almost any shipyard due to its mobility. 
Composite rigging specialist Future Fibres has teamed up with mould specialist Persico Spa to design and build carbon masts for high-end customers in the grand prix race and superyacht markets. The new venture, Future Spars, opens its doors for business this July in a new factory next door to Future Fibres’ rigging facility in Valencia. 
Big Zip, Imagine and Mi Sueno are the most recent launches from Trinity Yachts to be equipped with Flushing Points from Trac Ecological Marine Products. Flushing Points are isolating valves that allow the quick and easy internal cleaning of sea water-cooled systems and piping at a fraction of the cost of mechanical cleaning methods. 
Alewijnse Marine Systems has been awarded the contract for the supply and installation of the complete electrical outfitting on board a stunning and innovative new 85.5m (280ft) motoryacht. The vessel has been styled by Igor Lobanov and is currently in build at Oceanco’s facility at Alblasserdam, the Netherlands. 
MTN Satellite Communications (MTN), global service provider of communications, connectivity, and content services to remote locations around the world, with its partners Jetstream and e3 Systems, announced today after successful sea trials that it is the chosen VSAT services provider for Eclipse, the world’s largest yacht. 
The RAL 5015 can best be described as a monochrome nautical sculpture. Designed by artist Xavier Veilhan, completed this year in collaboration with the prestigious Frauscher shipyard – it combines art and technical prowess in an amazing boat that was unveiled for the first time at the Hôtel Marcel-Dassault in Paris the 27th of May 2010.

Lambdamarine Ltd in Sharjah will supply the same level of service to builders and operators in the Persian Gulf and surrounding area. 
You walk through the immaculately appointed cabins and saloons of a new super yacht. Stepping out on to the upper deck and into the early morning sun you watch as the glimmering white hull slices through an azure sea. But you are not there, and neither is the yacht – it exists only in the virtual world created by 3Dyachts. 
GMT Composites recently shipped a twelve-legged carbon fiber antenna and instrument arch to Holland Jachtbouw. This has just been installed on an in-build 140-foot aluminum superyacht, due for launching later this year. Langan Design Associates turned to GMT for building this stylish structure in carbon composite. 
Marlink has announced an extension to its VSAT Ku-band service which will now cover sea routes around Australia for the first time. Working with Australian Satellite Communications Pty Ltd, the expanded service will also benefit vessels in the South West and South East Pacific travelling to and from Australia. 
Atlas Davits have launched their new Twin Carbon Raked Davits, a development of their Carbon Davit, specifically designed to lift and hold heavy tenders in the falls of the davits whilst remaining elegantly styled to blend in with the natural line of the yachts. 
On Wednesday April 21st 2010, the two carbon fibre masts of giant schooner Athos were stepped and supplied with SmartRigging PBO. The event took place at Holland Jachtbouw in Zaandam. By the end of the afternoon, the 203ft privately owned cruising yacht, designed by Andre Hoek, was ready for the first trimming session. 
EVE is an innovative wireless connection manager specifically made for superyachts. The Eve solution allows managing multiple Internet connections onboard, both on the port and out at sea. Humphreys Yacht Design in conjunction with boat builder Jason Carrington has unveiled the first of a new concept of semi-custom sports boats built from carbon, titanium, teak and leather and driven by twin 230 Alamarin waterjets. The C-Boat was on public display as a support boat for Edmiston throughout the Monaco Yacht Show.
