Navico, the world’s leading producer of marine electronics for the leisure market, has signed an agreement with Nautor’s Swan that makes Navico the preferred supplier of instrumentation systems for the next two years to one of the top names in production and semi-custom luxury sailing boats.

With its B&G performance brand now appointed as the standard fit to the Swan range, the Navico subsidiary will be supplying its latest system, the H3000, which combines the ultimate in sensor and processing technology with advanced displays and straightforward installation and use. Swans intended for racing will be offered the H3000 Hercules system, while those fitted out for cruising will have the H3000 Hydra system. Both options will feature the new 30/30 displays and a full range of pilot, sensor and processing components.

This announcement marks a further development in the long-standing relationship between Nautor’s Swan and B&G, building on the latter’s existing role of performance supplier to the builder.

Jens-Thomas Pietralla, CEO and president of Navico, said: “We greatly value the endorsement of Nautor’s Swan, a name that exemplifies the very best in luxury boat building. Swans are renowned for their longevity and many owners use their yachts for regular trans-ocean and long distance blue water cruising, so the selection of Navico instrumentation by Nautor is an unequivocal testimonial to our commitment to quality and service.”
