Gladius has already been attracting interest since being placed on the market for sale last year - now that interest is set to increase as YPI Brokerage announces an impressive €1.6m price reduction effective immediately on the 2007 Akhir 125 Gladius. M/Y Gladius was on offer at €11.5 million and is now reduced to €9.9 million euros. 
Bjorn Vang-Mathisen in the Geneva office of Ocean Independence has listed the 36 metre Sunny Hill for sale, asking EU 6,500,000. The motor sailor was built in The Netherlands by De Amstel in 1987 to a design of Diana Yacht Design. The ketch is currently undergoing a complete rebuild in Wallhamn, Sweden. 
Ocean Independence yacht broker Marco Vandoni has just announced that his central agency for sale Nomad has been sold. The European Client visited Nomad just as the final horns were being blasted to signal the end of the 2009 Monaco Yacht show. The client was introduced to Marco by Philippe Mahot of Navigator. 
From the Edmiston Athens office news comes in that the 36 metre Baglietto superyacht Alfa One is now jointly listed by Edmiston’s Jessie Tsiftsi and Pacifica Yachting. The appointment also sees a major price reduction of EU 1,2000,000 and Alfa One is now asking EU 2,900,000 (VAT Paid). 
Yachtzoo have announced their appointment as the central agents for the sale of Pastime. Pastime is a 1999, 26.8m superyacht, built by Broward. Pastime features a spacious 4 stateroom layout, and a large country kitchen layout. She features an upgraded interior. Aspen Pastime has an asking price of $1.500.000. 
Jared Neff of Neff Yacht Sales has just Centrally listed the 40 meter (131ft) Feadship Seaflower for sale. Seaflower is currently undergoing her Lloyds survey and has just had her repainting completed. She features one of the most expensive interiors per square meter on any Feadship and was the Superyacht Society Design Award winner in 2003. 
Ocean Independence have announced their appointment as the central agents for the sale of Courage. Courage is a fantastic opportunity to finish a high volume yacht, built to Germanischer Lloyd’s & MCA. She could be finished within 8 months of purchase/contract. Courage is under construction at the German Lübeck Shipyard. 
Yachtzoo have announced their appointment as the central agents for the sale of Aspen Alternative. Aspen Alternative is a 2002, 36.6m superyacht, built by Sovereign Yachts. Aspen Alternative features a spacious 4 stateroom layout, with an interior design by Patrick Knowles. She is ideal for family cruising or charter service.

Bartram & Brakenhoff have announced their appointment as the central agents for the sale of Primadonna. Primadonna is a 1996, 32.3m superyacht, built by Westship Yachts. Primadonna features a full beam master stateroom plus 4 VIP guest staterooms, in a 2008 interior. She is equipped with twin MTU 8V396TE94 diesels. 
Ardell has announced an interesting opportunity, to buy a 34m superyacht. Sea Eagle is a 1988, 34.1m superyacht, built by Hakvoort. Ardell is acting as central agents representing the receiver for the S.E.C. (Stanford Int’l Bank et al) will be selling Sea Eagle at auction. The auction period is for 60 days beginning on March 11, 2010 and ending May 10. 
Fraser Yachts recently signed a new 72.6m superyacht, to be built by Proteksan-Turquoise. Nabil El Jammal in London and Stuart Larsen worked in close partnership to bring this exciting sale to a successful conclusion.The brokerage house also informed SuperYachtTimes.com about their recent new listings and price reducutions. 
YCO has announced their appointment as the central agents for the sale of Y3K Due. Y3K Due was built for an experienced yachtsman and uniquely combines the performance of a maxi racer with the characteristics of a blue water cruiser. Featuring the sleek lines which Wally has become famous for, Y3K Due also incorporates. 
A rare superyacht has recently become available for sale. The powerful yacht Burevestnik was built in 1961 for the top leadership of the USSR, and today is great for a restore project. This 37 metre superyacht comes with two 3300-HP Diesel engines with only 150 hours in use, offering speeds in excess of 30 knots. 
Camper & Nicholsons International welcomes a number of new listings to the books. In the US, Fernando Nicholson and Rick Morales list the 78.6m (257’8) Princess Mariana for sale. Built in 2003 and refit in 2006, this Royal Denship was designed by Espen Oeino for a knowledgeable yacht owner. She features a François Zuretti interior. 
John Cohen of Merle Wood has listed the 162ft megayacht Remember When for sale and charter. The luxury yacht is currently in the final stages of construction at the Christensen Shipyard in Vancouver, WA and she will be delivered in April 2010. Remember When features a contemporary interior by Carol Williams & Associates. 
Chris Cecil-Wright of Edmiston has announced the sale of motor yacht Utopia DV in an in-house deal. The 71.60 metre Utopia DV, designed by De Voogt Naval Architects, held the distinction of being the largest Feadship built to date when completed in May 2004. She was built in full compliance MCA and to Lloyds class specifications. 
Merle Wood & Associated have listed superyacht Mirage for sale. This 1992, Heesen built superyacht, is one of the fastest yachts of its kind, powered by MTU waterjets, she reaches speeds in excess of 35 knots. Mirage is 40 meters long, and offers accommodation for up to ten guests in a timeless interior designed by Artline. 
One of the world’s most impressive yachts is now offered for sale with Burgess, Peter Insull and Edmiston as joint central agents. A truly unique vessel with a global reputation, Alysia offers a staggering 2,400 square metres of magnificent staterooms, saloons, cinema, library, and health centre, accommodating 36 guests over 5 spectacular decks. 
From the Fort Lauderdale office of Yachtzoo we receive the news that they have signed two new megayachts for sale. Rob Newton lists the 45.90 metre Bella Bri and the Westport 130 Arioso for sale. Bella Bri was built by Northern Marine in 2008 with interior and exterior design by Jonathan Quinn Barnett. 
OceanStyle Yachting and Burgess have jointly listed the 2009 Akhir 135 Blink, with an asking price of $ 22,000,000. They also announce that the superyacht will be available for viewings at the 2010 Abu Dhabi Yacht Show, which will open its doors next Thursday. Built to ABS standards and MCA compliant, Blink is still under full warranties. 
Burgess has listed Platinum, a 50m 2009 Benetti for sale. Inspired by Benetti’s successful Golden Bay custom-series, Platinum is a fabulous superyacht, ideally suited for private or charter cruising anywhere in the world. This yacht is a strong sales opportunity with generous and varied deck spaces, rich interiors and a flexible layout. 
Jim Acher in the Ocean Independence Palma office has listed the 32 metre luxury yacht Trilogy. The superyacht is based in Naples, Italy and is asking EU 1,200,000 (VAT Paid). Trilogy was built in the United States by Tempest Marine in 1990. The luxury yacht sleeps 8 guests in 4 cabins and 4 crew in 2 cabins. 
Tomaso Polli of the Edmiston London office and the team at Peter Insull’s Yacht Marketing have jointly listed explorer superyacht Bleu de Nimes for sale, asking EU 29,000,000. The 58.70 metre Bleu de Nimes was originally built by Clelands Shipbuilding in 1980 and completed her five year conversion to a luxury charter yacht in 2008. 
Kevin Merrigan of Northrop and Johnson and Matt Albert of Yachting Partners International have jointly listed the 40 metre Amels superyacht Monte Carlo. The full displacement yacht was designed by Diana Yacht Design and in 2006 the luxury yacht underwent a complete interior refit by Claudette Bonville. 
William Bishop of Yachting Partners International has just listed, jointly with Hoek Brokerage, the new-build J-Class superyacht Lionheart. Lionheart is the first of a new breed of aluminium J-Class yachts from the boards of Hoek Design in the Netherlands. She will be the largest J in existence when completed by Claasen Jachtbouw. 
The team at Burgess started 2010 on a positive note with the sale of the Feadship Liberty GB in January. The 39 metre superyacht was sold by Burgess with no other broker involved. Liberty GB built by Feadship Royal Van Lent in 1997 as Irina to a design of De Voogt Naval Architects and with an interior by Larvor. 
Burgess have been appointed as the central agents for the sale of the 42.90 metre super sloop Vent d’Est. Designed by Dubois, Vent d’Est was built by Vitters in 2002 as African Queen and later renamed Red Dragon before being purchased by her current owner. The superyacht features an interior by Redman Whiteley Dixon and Axel Vervoordt. 
Pure One is a 2008 Leopard 46, the first of the Leopard 46 series. Pure One, the largest in the range of Leopard yachts, is as elegant and stylish as she is high powered. Three 2400 HP MTU's power this 190 ton yacht, to speeds in access of 36 knots. With a stunning interior by Pure Design, Pure One offers the ultimate in luxury accommodation. 
Super Yacht Auction, the new auction platform for superyachts, presents its first global auction: a new Schooner of 100 ft (32,80 metres). The auction, held online will be open for bids until 1 March next, 14:00 h. (UTC+1). The owner of the ship has chosen Super Yacht Auction in order to conclude a fast sale. 
Edmiston has announced a major price reduction of $5.000.000 for Independence. Independence has proven her place in the yachting world by traveling the globe carrying guests and crew to remote and exotic locations in comfort and safety. The team at Moran Yacht & Ship has just announced the sale of the 58 metre Lürssen superyacht Capri. Delivered in 2003, she has five decks and her voluminous Glade Johnson interior accommodates 12 guests in 6 cabins. Fitted with KoopNautic at-anchor stabilizers, she has a cruising range of 8,500nm at 12 knots. 
Mike Payne brings the 26m Solaria Too from Esterel onto the CNI books. Built in 1973, she exemplifies the legendary Esterel sea-keeping qualities and efficiency and is presented in excellent condition. Jonathan Syrett offers one of the few Princess fly bridge models for sale. Built in 2001, the 25.7m Mia & Alejandra has four well-appointed staterooms. 
Back on the market with Toby Maclaurin and Peter Thompson of Ocean Independence is the 35.5 metre Wheels, now asking EU 7,200,000 after a substantial price reduction of EU 1,750,000. The composite luxury yacht has an enviable charter record and was built by Horizon Yachts in 2002 to a design of Studio Spadolini. 
New for sale through Burgess is the 45.65 metre Beluga. The superyacht was built in Japan at the Ishikawajima-Harima H.I. shipyard in 1968 and a year later the Tokyo based shipyard launched a sistership called Dolly (now named Anemos). Beluga, like her sistership, features an interior by the late Jon Bannenberg and sleeps 10 guests. 
Richard Earp of the Fraser Yachts Monaco office just listed the 55.17 metre Southern Cross III. Built by the Japanse shipyard Sterling Yachts in 1986, Southern Cross III is one of the most well known superyachts of her time with her typical Jon Bannenberg styling. Southern Cross III sleeps 15 guests in 5 double, 2 single and 1 triple cabin. 
News has come in to SuperYachtTimes.com from the Ocean Independence Antibes office, that Jeroen Minnema has signed a new Akhir 118 for sale. Asking EU 11,200,000, the superyacht is jointly listed with the Italia Relazioni. The Akhir 118 is equipped with twin 2,600 hp MTU 16V 2000 M94 diesels, which provide a maximum speed of 27 knots. 
On 30th December 2009, Robert Shepherd of the Edmiston New York office, together with central agent Bob Murray of Merritt Yacht Brokers, closed the sale of the 51.25 metre superyacht Jamaica Bay. Jamaica Bay was built by the Fr. Schweers Shipyard in 1987 with interior and exterior design by Terence Disdale. 
Ocean Independence and Ardell have announced their new joint cental agency for sale, Pherousa, a 67m new built project in Turkey. She is designed by the successful builders of Thetis and Arethusa. The buyer has the opportunity to take delivery of a 67m large yacht only 15-18 months after signing the contract. 
Mark Elliott of International Yacht Collection has announced to SuperYachtTimes.com his latest central listing, Symphony II. Symphony II is a GRP semi-displacement hull design and was built by Westport in 2001 and her exterior design was by Jack Sarin. She is 34.14m in length and has a beam of 7.32m. She sleeps 8 guests in 4 staterooms. 
Michael White of Ocean Independence has just listed the 42.9 metre classic gentleman’s yacht Lady Goodgirl for sale. Lady Goodgirl (previously Lady Angela) is one of the largest motor yachts designed by the renowned naval architect Philip Rhodes. She is a classic, full displacement yacht built in 1964 by Hall Russell of Aberdeen. 
John Todd of Burger Yacht Sales has listed the 25.91 metre luxury yacht Bella Una. Built by Burger Boat Company in 2001, she was designed by Burger’s in-house designer Don O’Keeffe with an interior by Douglas Richey and A.S.I.D. The interior can be described as classic contemporary with traditional accents. 
From the Ocean Independence Antibes office comes the news that yacht broker Jeroen Minnema has signed the central agency agreement for a brand new Akhir 108 superyacht. The composite high performance yacht is powered by twin 2,400hp MTU engines which provide a maximum speed of 28 knots. 
Dan O’Neill of Yachtzoo Monaco reports that the company has just signed a central agency agreement for the sale of Bossy Boots II. The 41.50 metre megayacht was built in the United States by Intermarine in 1999. The exterior of the world cruiser was designed by Luiz DeBasto with naval architecture by Paragon Design. 
Michael White and Peter Thompson of Ocean Independence together with Kevin Bonnie of International Yacht Collection have listed the luxury sportfisherman Red Sapphire for sale. Built by Heesen Yachts in 1999, she measures 39.10 metres in length with a beam of 7.98 metre. She has a semi-displacement hull design built from aluminum. 
Madiz, built in 1902, is the oldest steel superyacht to be in class with Lloyds Register of Shipping and this historical yacht has now been jointly listed for sale by Edmiston and Titan, Hyde & Torrance, asking EU 7,800,000. Madiz was built by the Ailsa Shipyard in Troon, Scotland as Triton. In 1972 Madiz was purchased by her current owner. 
Two new superyachts have joined the Edmiston sales fleet; the high-speed 33 metre G Whiz and the 30.60 metre sailing yacht Gaia. Built by Brooke Yachts in 1989, G Whiz is a one-off high speed superyacht designed by the legendary yacht designer Jon Bannenberg. With her twin 3,600hp MTU diesel engines G Whiz reaches speeds up to 40 knots. 
Moran Yacht & Ship have listed the 106ft Broward megayacht Maui for sale, asking $ 1,875,000. Built in 1990 and refitted in 2003, Maui sleeps ten owners and guests in four nearly equal, elegantly appointed staterooms. From the comfortable setting of the spacious country kitchen, to the newly decorated interior, one feels at home immediately upon stepping aboard. 
In what may well be a first in yachting, CNI has this year sold all three sistership 40m (131’) sailing yachts built by Concorde Yachts. Built originally as a series for Joe Vittoria, Mirabella I and III were operated by him as a charter business for more than 15 years. When launched, Mirabella I was at the time the largest sloop in the world. 
Moran Yacht & Ship have announced the addition of the 131ft Heesen Brazil and the 2004 Azimut Leonardo Obsidian to their sales fleet. Brazil was built in 1993 and completely refitted in 2008. She sleeps 10 guests in 5 staterooms. Powered by twin 2,200hp MTU engines, Brazil has a cruising speed of 12.5 knots. 
The Mangusta 130 series are one of the most popular large open superyachts and since their introduction in 2004, no less than 15 superyachts have been launched in the series. Launched in 2003 and refitted in 2005 Celtic Dawn sleeps eight guests in four cabins and has been listed for sale with OCI for less than 5 months.

Burgess reports that the 62m Rasselas is now priced to sell with a new asking price of EU 55,000,000. Built by Feadship Koninklijke De Vries in 2005, Rasselas was designed by De Voogt N/A with a classic interior by Pannagan Design. The 42-knot superyacht has only been privately used by her owner and passed her 5-year ABS survey in May 2009. David Price of BCR Yachts, acting on behalf of the seller, and Jean Jacques Soete of AB Yacht, acting on behalf of the buyer, have sold the 54 metre converted luxury yacht Fils De Grace. Originally built as a cable layer by E.J. Smit in 1968, Fils de Grace was converted into a luxury yacht from 2001-2003. Fils De Grace is currently lying in Genoa. 
Peter Thompson of Ocean Independence has just listed the 52 metre Quantum of Solace, formerly known as Midlandia. The superyacht was originally built by Benetti in 2001, but underwent extensive internal, external and mechanical work just after her new owner purchased her earlier this summer. 
This spring Princess Yolini was featured at the Newport Beach Boat Show and was the belle of the show. She basked in the limelight for live television and newspaper exposure. Local television news teams toured the yacht and gave their viewers at home a peek at the exciting world of yachting aboard Princess Yolini. 
Alain Auvare of Peri Yachts France has just listed the Peri 29 Quasar for sale. Just launched by the Peri Yachts shipyard in Antalya, Turkey, the 29 metre superyacht is built to RINA class and MCA compliant. Quasar sleeps eight guests in two double and two twin cabins,along with four crew members. She is based in the South of France and asking EU 3,700,000.

The 50.3 metre Sweet Pea was built by Feadship Royal Van Lent in 2000 with interior and exterior design by Donald Starkey. Sweet Pea was purchased by her present owners in May 2006 and since then has undergone three extensive refits. Her owner is now keen to sell and the superyacht has just had a substantial price reduction of $ 5,000,000.

Dahm International reports an exceedingly successful first business half-year 2009, despite the difficult economic situation. Since the beginning of 2009, the company noted five successful sales of superyachts as central agent. Dahm International´s charter department also reports active demands. 
Bruce Schattenburg is pleased to announce the sale of the 121ft Tri-Deck Motor Yacht Morgan Star. Launched by Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts in 1986, the aluminum-hulled Morgan Star underwent an extensive refit in 2002/2003, including the installation of new 16V Deutz main engines, and her equipment was updated further in 2006 and 2007.

Merle Wood is pleased to announce the sale of the recently completed 160ft Christensen Primadonna. They are also pleased to announce the sale of the brand new 90ft Pershing motor yacht MTG and the 80ft Hatteras motor yacht Angel Wings. New listings include the 214ft Feadship Trident. Listed for sale with Ocean Independence is Cintra, the oldest Vintage international 12 meter class yacht in the world. A finely crafted wooden construction she was originally designed and built for racing by William Fife III in 1909 for a well-known Scottish yachtsman of the time called Andrew Coats. 
In March 2008 SuperYachtTimes.com reported that the 88 metre Maltese Falcon had been listed for sale, asking EURO 115,000,000. Following a price reduction to EURO 99,000,000 early this year, joint CA Bruce Brakenhoff Jr of Perini Navi USA reports that the price has now been set at EURO 70,000,000, making it one of the best buys on the market. 
Over the last few months Fraser Yachts has seen some strong recovery signs for the luxury yacht market for vessels larger than 24m. Fraser Yachts’ CEO Hein Velema comments, “After Q4 2008 saw a steady decline in sales volumes across the industry, there’s been a definite turn since the start of this year."

George Fortune of Monte Carlo Luxury Yachts is pleased to announce their appointment as the central agent for the sale of M/Y Spago. The 28 metre Spago was built by Baglietto (hull number 10179) in Italy to a design of Francesco Paszkowski with engineering by Navirex. Spago is listed at EU 3,980,000.

Rumours of falling sales in luxury goods are contradicted by news from YPI Brokerage, the Sales Division of Yachting Partners International, which not only reports a number of strong enquiries with several substantial contracts in the pipeline, but also the completed sale this week of the superb 74m Espen Oeino designed super yacht Silver.

Silver Angel is a 64.5m heavy displacement Benetti, designed specifically for extensive world cruising and ideal for charter purposes offering the highest levels of comfort in all areas for both guests and crew. At a staggering 1400 GRT she is one of the highest volume superyachts of her length in existence maintaining good proportions and sleek profile. 
Burgess have announced their appointment as the central agent for the sale of M/Y Z. She is currently under construction at Marco Yachts in Chile and is scheduled for completion in 2010. Both the exterior and interior of Z have been designed by Ken Freivokh. The 85m yacht will be able to accommodate 14 guests in 1 master suite and 6 guest staterooms. 
Ocean Independence (OCI) is pleased to announce the sale of the 34.5 metre classic Feadship Celine Ashley this week. She was centrally listed with OCI new build director Peter Thompson and OCI broker David Goddard, while Peter Thompson also acted on behalf of her new American owner. Built in 1979, Celine Ashley was refitted in 2006/7. 
David Nicols and Kevin Bonnie's central listing, M/Y Stanley was recently sold by Kevin Bonnie and Sofia Lembrin of IYC Monaco; Stanley is a 120' (36.5m) Palmer Johnson built in 2005. She is powered by 2 12V4000 DDEC M90 Marine Diesels 2750 bhp @ 2100 rpm. Her hull is aluminum with an FRP composite superstructure.
Northrop and Johnson Boston is thrilled to announce the sales of two superyachts; the 151ft Feadship M/Y Time For Us and the 123ft Palmer Johnson M/Y Big City. Time For Us was sold by Steve Doyle, who also signed up the central agency for the 97ft Hargrave M/Y Gigi, and George Georges sold Big City. 
Burgess have announced that their central agency listing motor yacht Bad Girl was sold with IYC acting on behalf of the buyer. The 56 metre Bad Girl was built by Brooke Marine in 1992 as Chamar to a design of Don Shead. With a stunning interior by Luigi Sturchio, 6 staterooms, a gym, cinema and a vast 60ft sundeck, she is a truly unique yacht.

Along the coast, CNI Cannes lists the 1985 Amels built 56.73m (186’) Cleopatra C. 
OCI started the new year with the sale of a distinctive motor yacht; the revamped 56.4m Halter Marine support vessel Amevi Surprise, brokered for the buyer by OCI’s UK based New Build director Peter Thompson, she was built in 1981 and completely overhauled to ABS class at Quality Shipyards in 2004.

Northrop and Johnson Sales Division is pleased to announce three new listings for sale; the 131ft Oceanfast Opal C, the 115ft Crescent Kapalua and the 98ft MCP Yacht Obrigado. Opal C, a 1990 131-foot Oceanfast, has been centrally listed with Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford. Opal C is a true Bannenberg design being sold by the original owner.
