It was announced in London on Monday that Edmiston had won its legal case against a London based Russian businessman. Edmiston was forced to sue the yacht owner during a six day trial at the High Court in London for commission owed following their sale of his 110m motor yacht Darius in 2008. 
YCO in collaboration with SuperYachtsMonaco have announced the final delivery of the recently launched 60m Trinity yacht Bacarella to the Owners. The largest Trinity yacht to date, Bacarella features a stunning Bannenberg & Rowell interior designed to create a Zen-like atmosphere of relaxation using natural materials. 
Edmiston have announced a major price reduction on the 40m MaRo. MaRo's asking price dropped from €7.500.000 to $7.500.000. She was built in 1988 in Italy by the Picchiotti yard, and has had major refits in 1991 and 2006. MaRo offers accommodation for up to 10 guests, in 5 beautiful cabins. MaRo features a bright and airy interior. 
Launched by Leopard Yachts in 2007, the elegant Mr Mach 5 boosts a well appointed 4 cabin lay-out with separate lower saloon / TV room. Mr Mach 5's interior is light and neutral. Commercially registered, this yacht has excellent charter potential. The MCA compliant Mr Mach 5's twin MTU engines provide top speeds in the region of 38 knots. 
Toby Maclaurin of Ocean Independence has just listed the 1931 superyacht Altair for sale. The most successful and original classic schooner afloat, Altair is unique & beyond compare, equally capable of world cruising & regatta winning. Altair is built and maintained throughout her life to Lloyds class. The gaff-rigged schooner Altair was built in 1931. 
Michael White of Ocean Independence has just listed the 34.5 metre superyacht My Max for sale. My Max (previously Iliki VII; Paola) has just finished a top to bottom refit, and is in ‘as new’ condition. She has had a full repaint, 10yr Lloyds Survey, features low engine hours, and has had many substantial upgrades. 
Fraser Yachts’ Julian Calder has informed SYT that the 44m Burger yacht, Mirgab V will be available for viewings at short notice at Rybovich Boat Yard in Palm Beach, Florida from 25th January. This is an excellent opportunity to obtain a quality 45m tri-deck yacht. with the interior volume of a 50m at a very attractive price. 
Camper & Nicholsons International are offering the beautiful Lady Thuraya, ex Borkum Riff 2, for sale and for charter. She has just completed a major refit by Verkerk Yachting Projects, that took 18 months to complete. During the refit every onboard system was replaced or renewed. Lady Thuraya is a 31 meter, 1982 German built superyacht.

Blame it on the harvest moon, which shone brightly on the gleaming megayachts lining the show docks, or on a growing feeling of optimism following a challenging year, but The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals (TSGYP) reported very positive results following the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), October 29-November 2, 2009.

CNI have reported eight sales for the month of July. Following the announcement of a price reduction, the 49.95m (164’) Cuor Di Leone (ex: Lionheart) was sold by CNI’s Alex Lees Buckley. CNI also sold the 46m (151’) No Escape from the Heesen shipyard. Built in 1999, she accommodates 12 guests in five cabins. 
Last week Stuart Larsen closed the sale of Georgia, the 49m Alloy Yachts sloop. When she was delivered in 2000 she was the largest sloop in the world. Georgia will cruise the Eastern Med this summer. The brokerage house also informed SYT about their recent new listings, price reducution, and their latest charter offers. 
Merle Wood & Associates has sold the 170ft Benetti Midlandia in July. They also report three new superyacht listings, including the Heesen 4400 One O One and the 164ft Shandor which are both jointly listed with Edmiston. The One O One with its spectacular exterior styling and exquisite interior is one of a kind. 
Fraser Yachts recently sold the 2001 sailing superyacht Victoria of Strathearn, built by Alloy Yachts in New Zealand. The brokerage house also informed SuperYachtTimes.com about their recent new listings, price reducution, and their latest charter offers, which includes reduced rates for Seawolf, Newvida, Solaia and many more superyachts. 
Burgess has announced their appointment as (joint) CA for three large superyachts, Siren, Sapphire and Nero. Siren was built in Germany by Nobiskrug in 2008, and measures 73.5m. She was the winner of Best Displacement Motor Yacht of between 1,200-2,999 GT (approx 60-84m) at the 2009 World Superyacht Awards. 
IYC Charter and Brokerage have announced to SuperYachtTimes.com the sale of 2 superyachts (Inspiration & Big City), the addition of a number of motoryachts to their central brokerage listing, a new Management contract (the new Big City) and 3 yachts to join their charter fleet (Allure, Lizzi & Natalia). 
CNI’s Charter Marketing Department are pleased to announce a selection of new Central Agency appointments including the 43m (142’) Incentive. Built by Palmer Johnson in 2004, Incentive is a stunning tri-deck motor yacht accommodating ten guests in five lavish staterooms. Incentive is available for charter in New England this coming summer season. 
YCO has been appointed Central Agent for the sale of QM of London, a 50 metre Benetti from the Golden Bay series. Accommodating up to 14 guests, QM of London underwent a full refit in 2006. QM of London will be based in the South of France this summer and has an asking price of 16,000,000 Euros. 
Ocean Independence report a very busy month in yacht sales with three completions. The 1991, 90.6m mini cruise ship, Hebridian Spirit, has been sold to a direct client and brokered by Michael White and Peter Thompson from OCI UK. The ship will be operated through Ocean Management on behalf of the new owner. 
The latest news from Burgess includes a diverse selection of new brokerage and charter central agency listings. Offered for charter is the 52m Amels Deja Too. The yacht, part of the highly successful Tigre d'Or series, boasts a sleek and contemporary design, complemented by a beautiful light interior. 
Red Sula, one of the most sophisticated yachts ever built by Jongert, will be shown at the 3rd Antibes Yacht Show from 2 to 5 April, 2009. Red Sula has already been a hot spot at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2008, where she was presented as a world premiere. With her beautifully elegant lines, Red Sula has been inspired by the Audi TT.
IYC Charter and Brokerage are pleased to announce the sale of one superyacht, the addition of 4 motoryachts to their central brokerage listing, the addition of a new charter listing and a new captain onboard motor yacht La Dolce Vita. Chany Sabates III and Frank Grzeszczak recently sold their central listing, M/Y Relentless.

In January Edmiston signed up two new central agency listings for sale; the 48 metre Heesen Blowzy and the 42 metre Canica. They also announced two new superyacht launches; the 61 metre Candyscape II was launched from the Viareggio SuperYachts shipyard and Feadship De Vries launched the second SL 39, Kathleen Anne, for an Edmiston client. 
In December 2008 Fraser Yachts sold three yachts, including the 34m Valdettaro sloop Takapuna and the 26m Moonen Dolce Vita. Seven new superyachts were listed for sale, including the recently refitted Leight Star. The Charter division signed up four new central agency listings, including the Broward Panache and the North Star Besame. 
A busy season at Ocean Independence (OCI) with 2 new CAs for charter and 4 for sale, as well as the successful sale of Anoud Al Doha. This 28m Guy Couach 2800 open, with a Kevlar hull and Arneson Surface drives, built in 1999, was represented by the dynamic team of Jim Acher and Marc Haendle at OCI Palma.
