Setzer Design Group announces the premier of “VL-58,” another futuristic design from its Vision Line series, which the renowned Burger Boat Company has selected as a statement of both companies’ plans for the future. The new design, a 58-meter vessel, debuts as a streamlined expression of Setzer’s visionary superyachts. 
Seanest has presented this new fiberglass 32m Motoryacht, at the International Boat Shows of Dubai and Moscow, and then again at the Cannes and Genoa boat shows. Described by Seanest as “a unique jewel”, she is the result of studies and research which optimize performance and comfort. Its interior design is totally custom. 
Van Geest Design has released details on a very exciting new project, the 85m. This 85 meter concept is the combination of two distinctive developments. One is a yacht with crisp lines without having the interior volume dictating the exterior styling. There are four decks giving a low and sleek eye catching design. 
Holland Jachtbouw (HJB), Hoek Design, Azure Naval Architects and Fraser Yachts have joined forces to introduce a new concept for the luxury yacht sector. The 51.50-metre Hollander offers the finest performance yet seen on a full displacement yacht below 500 GT. She combines a sleek, low-resistance aluminium hull with a hybrid propulsion package. 
Burger Boat Company and Sparkman & Stephens have announced a newly formed collaboration to design and build custom aluminum motorsailers. These vessels will continue the proud heritage that was developed with the construction of the first Sparkman & Stephens designed aluminum yawl built by Burger Boat Company in 1957. 
A stunning family-friendly 63-metre superyacht is currently under development at Rainsford Saunders Design. Laid out over four decks, the yacht features extensive outdoor areas providing a range of water sport and leisure options, including an oversized swimming platform aft, plus garaging for jet-skis, water-skis and diving equipment. 
Derecktor and the Cakewalk team unveiled a model of the new Cakewalk presently in build at Derecktor. The long awaited unveiling was held September 24th at YCO’s beautiful Monaco offices overlooking Monaco’s harbor. At 281 (85.6m) feet and 2,950 tons, this Cakewalk surpasses her four predecessors in size. 
From the “dreams” of her owner, through the creativity of Giorgio Vafiadis & Associates, a 106 metre long blue hulled Dream is coming along. Dream has been created to fulfill the desire of a demanding owner, who due to his love for the sea, decided to fit out the yacht with the necessary means in which to operate his business from on board. 
Ipanema is a 50 metre motor yacht that meets all requirements to operate as a charter yacht, including MCA. Designed by Brazilian designer Artur Gustavo Bartholo, Ipanema is designed to carry a total of 12 passengers and a crew of 10. All guest cabins are equipped with a bar, internet access and Crestron entertainment systems. 
After the great success of its 3700 series, Heesen Yachts is now introducing a series of 40 metre semi-custom yachts; the 4000 series. Heesen is the first yacht builder to launch a series of fast luxury yachts of such a length. The 4000 series’ interior is not only larger, but also more flexible than the 3700’s. 
Designed by the London-based Stephane Schwarz Studio, Ikko showcases a counter-proposal to the current market trend by defining a new approach to exclusive yachting: 125 meters of leanness and unprecedented experience onboard, shaped around the interface between man, machine and the environment. 
Superyacht brand Palmer Johnson has now released a preview of the latest addition to their successful semi-custom sportyacht line. With the flagship PJ 170 set to be released in the spring of 2010, Palmer Johnson is again setting the standard with this finely detailed designed interpretation of the ultimate modern Superyacht.
