ISA Yachts has just announced the sale of a new 50 metre displacement motor yacht. Developed on the 50 metre platform, the new ISA superyacht is a totally new custom project. Her modern lines have been designed according to the client’s style, with input from her designer Andrea Vallicelli. 
Stuart Larsen in Fraser Yachts Fort Lauderdale office advises that a contract for the construction of a new Proteksan-Turquoise 72.6m (238’) motor yacht was signed at the beginning of February. Nabil El Jammal in London and Stuart Larsen worked in close partnership to bring this exciting sale to a successful conclusion. 
Heesen Yachts is proud to announce the signing of a new contract for a 47-metre displacement motor-yacht, Hull Number 15747, for delivery in 2012. This new building contract is even more special for the Company since the client is Frans Heesen. The sale of this new vessel means that four new contracts were signed in the last 12 months. 
Monte Fino Europe has announced that it sold a custom 30.5m semi‐displacement luxury superyacht at the 2010 London International Boat Show and in addition received a number of good quality enquiries during the course of the ten day event. A number of the larger new‐style Monte Finos in the 96 to 100ft range have now been sold. 
The Perini Navi Group has just informed SuperYachtTimes.com that at the end of 2009 the company closed the sale of a 40 metre fast cruising cutter. Project C. 2180 will be delivered in 2012 and was the third contract signed by Perini Navi in 2009. The superyacht is designed by the in-house design team of Perini Navi in co-operation with Ron Holland. 
Ocea Shipyard, located in Les Sables d’Olonne on the French Atlantic Coast and builder of the Ocea Commuter and Ocea Classic Yacht Series, has signed a build contract for the first Ocea Classic 72 to be delivered for the summer 2011. The Ocea Classic 72 is designed by the naval architect office Joubert-Nivelt. 
Amels has announced the sale of the second 54-metre Limited Editions Amels 177. The Amels 177 is an evolution of the Amels 171, with an optional touch-and-go helipad, plus a spacious “beach club” and a larger transom door for easier water-toy handling. As with previous Limited Editions models, the Amels 177 exterior is designed by Tim Heywood. 
Following last week’s news that Fincantieri secured an order through Camper & Nicholsons International for a 140 metre superyacht, more good news comes in from Ocean Indendence, as Peter Thompson has sold a new-build Benetti superyacht. The 57.50 metre yacht will have a steel hull and construction will commence soon. 
Fincantieri has signed a contract for the construction of a seven-deck motor yacht of 140 metres in length. The superyacht will be identified as “Hull # 6218”. This is the first order for a yacht longer than 80 metres signed since the beginning of the financial crisis in October 2008. Starting from a new outstanding design by Espen Oeino, project “Hull # 6218”. 
The dawn of a new generation at Pacific Asian Enterprises (PAE) has arrived with the sale of the first Nordhavn 120. With a scheduled delivery date of April 2012, the stage has been set for the emergence of a new breed of luxury expedition superyacht. Hull one is being built at PAE’s new partner factory in Xiamen, China. 
Following significant interest in the recently launched design of the luxury performance catamaran released by Aeroyacht, worldwide sales agent YCO is pleased to announce that Wally has been signed on as the official shipyard. Ben Bartlett, who masterminded the collaboration, hopes the first yachts will hit the water late 2011. 
The J-Class Rainbow, designed by Dykstra & Partners for a repeat client, has started building at Bloemsma Aluminiumbouw. When the hull will be ready, Rainbow will be transported to be finished at Holland Jachtbouw. The re-build of this originally William Starling Burgess Designed yacht will be under supervision of Dykstra & Partners. 
Perini Navi has signed two contracts in August for the construction of a 50 metre sailing yacht, and a 73.30 metre motor yacht from its Picchiotti-Vitruvius® series. The two contracts, one for the Far Eastern market and another for the American market, reinforce the leadership of the Italian shipyard, which is based in Viareggio. 
A contract is signed between Classic Yacht Partners, and Trumpy®Yachts, LLC, to build two new dramatic Trumpy Yachts inspired. Johan Trumpy, grandson and partner in Trumpy®Yachts, LLC, said, “When we decided to re-launch our brand and business, we believed very strongly that thoughtful yachtsmen would respond to our proven designs". 
An overseas relation placed an order for a new Jongert within a month after the restart of the yard run by the new management. The yacht will be completed and delivered early 2010. The present orderbook also comprising two refits and two yachts yet to be completed for shareholder VeKa signifies a flying (re)start for the yard. 
Under the Oassive Custom Yachts brand the Vigo based shipyard Astilleros MCies is building a 36 metre superyacht. The steel hull is currently being constructed and the superstructure is under construction. With a length of 36.6 metres and a beam of 8.20 metres, the AA-Oassive 36 provides ample interior space. 
With five deliveries in 2008 Lürssen has had one of it's busiest years. The 155m Al Said, 70m Martha Ann, 60m Vive la Vie, 110m Dilbar and 78m Madsummer, all left the yard for their cruising grounds. In 2009 three superyachts will be delivered, namely the 60m Arkley, the 75m Scout and the 110m Darius. 
Royal Falcon Fleet, based in Singapore, have released more information on their exciting project, the RFF135. The RFF135 is a motor catamaran designed by Porsche Design currently under construction. She is set for an early 2010 launch date. Exclusive to Royal Falcon Fleet, RFF's debut model, is crafted for the new generation yacht owner. 
The CRN shipyard takes on a brand-new, extra-large challenge: vessel number 129, built of aluminium and steel, and measuring 80 metres - making it the largest yacht ever built in Ancona. The CRN 129 represents another example of the successful working relationship between the CRN technical staff and the firm Studio Zuccon International Project. 
Amels, a global leader in the Art of Yacht Building, is pleased to announce the recent sale of the second 65.70-metre Limited Editions Amels 212, already under construction. The yacht has been sold to a repeat Amels client. The owner is extremely pleased with the Limited Editions concept and with his Amels 171. 
At the last Monaco Yacht Show, Tankoa Yachts, a new Italian shipyard based in Genoa, presented their first superyacht; the 65 metre Tankoa S65. She is a twin screw displacement motor yacht built to both RINA and Lloyd’s rules. The superyacht will have a high tensile steel hull with a light weight alloy superstructure. 
Perini Navi is proud to announce that they delivered saling yacht Silvana to her owner last week. Silvana is the 6th in the 56m series and number 44 of the Perini Navi Fleet. At the same time, the company announces the sale of another 56m aluminium ketch, which will be delivered in the summer of 2010. 
Pendennis is pleased to announce that in partnership with Ron Holland Design and Palm Beach Yachts International, work on a new 46 metre ketch will start in the spring of 2009. It is a welcome addition to the Pendennis portfolio as the yard continues to go from strength to strength despite the current economic global climate affecting the industry. 
The Horizon Group held a traditional Chinese ceremony to celebrate the start of construction of its latest new model – the Bandido 148 Explorer. The first steel for its hull was cut on November 17. Horizon Group used the occasion to announce it is entering a new era by expanding its current model lines to include the steel luxury superyacht market. 
After the launching of the 58m (190ft) Netanya 8 in February 2007, CMN has developed a new range of motor yachts, the CMN Line 60 with three units in construction: Slipstream, Cloud 9 and Project 803. The Motor Yachts have been studied in cooperation with the designer Andrew Winch. The yachts can accommodate an owner’s party of up to twelve guests. 
Ginton Naval Architects in Holland has received an order for the design of a 40 metre Motor Yacht. The design concept is based on the succesful M/Y Metsuyan IV and she will also be built at CBI Navi, part of Fipa Group, in Italy. She has a steel hull, aluminium superstructure, 2 Caterpillar C32 engines, 850 hp each, ZF 4:1 gearboxes and Caterpillar C4.4 generators. 
The 36 metre motor yacht Eendracht is the first delivery of Oceanfast’s new range of semi-custom private vessels designed for owners seeking a high quality, well engineered and functional yacht at a price level that makes sense. Their new range will be rounded out with 48 metre and 60 metre variants. 
2008 continues to be a busy year for Yachting Partners International and Chairman Alex Braden. Hot on the heels of selling his company to the Barry Rogliano Salles Group (BRS) - one of the world’s leading shipbrokers – the company now announces the signing of one of the largest new construction deals in its 36-year history.
